Tribute to a Hometown Hero

Massa leads community in park rededication in memory of former NYPD Detective James Zadroga

North Arlington paid tribute to one of it's own Sunday afternoon with a moving ceremony that rededicated Skyline Park on Schuyler Avenue to the memory of fallen 9/11 responder, James Zadroga.

Mayor Peter Massa, gave a moving and graceful speech on the meaning of sacrifice, heroism and bravery. More Info

Junior Viking Football Prep rally Success!

Sept 4th the Junior Vikings kicked off their season by having a Prep Rally down at Rip Collins Field. Parents,coaches, supporters, rec commissioners and members of the Mayor and Council were in attendance to wish the Junior Vikings and Cheerleaders well this season. Mayor Pete Massa spoke to the crowd and wished the Junior Vikings and cheerleaders well and thanked all the parents and volunteers who help make Junior Viking Football successful.

Hibernians

The Ancient Order of Hibernians is establishing a division for North Arlington,Lyndhurst and Rutherford and surrounding areas. The AOH is a Catholic Irish Americam Fraternal organization that is celebrating it's 172nd anniversary in the US.
