Snow Emergency Streets

The North Arlington Police Department reminds residents the following roadways are designated as "Snow Emergency Streets". Compliance ensures adequate plowing, and allows emergency vehicles to respond Borough wide. Vehicles MUST be removed from Snow Emergency Streets when the snow event begins. Vehicles not moved are subject to summons and tow under Borough Ordinance No. 2333, Chapter 187-22 (Amended 10-14-2021)

It is illegal to reserve parking spots using cones, chairs, trash cans or other items. Any items left in the street will be removed. DO NOT THROW SNOW IN THE STREET!   Borough Ordinance #319-20

All sidewalks MUST be cleared of snow within 12 hours of snow fall stopping per Borough Ordinance #319-21

Remove all snow & ice from vehicles prior to operating them per NJ #39:4-77.1
