The Housing Authority of Bergen County is pleased to announce that beginning  Monday December 19, 2022 9:00AM EST and closing Thursday December 22, 2022 11:59PM EST pre-applications for Saddle River Senior Residence, located at 1-20 Wolf Run, Saddle River, NJ 07458 will be available online, for income eligible senior citizens (62 years of age or older). Saddle River Senior Residence consists of (12) 1-bedroom and (4) 2-bedroom apartments

 

A random selection lottery will be conducted on Friday, 1/6/23 to select 125 applicants to be placed on the waiting list for future potential vacancies. The HABC will use a third party to randomly select the applicants by computer to be placed on the waiting list.

 

To be eligible for the lottery, all completed applications must be received by 11:59pm on Friday, December 22, 2022. Any applications received after that time will be declined.

 

Pre-applications will be available online only at http://habcnjwaitinglists.org

 

The application will not be available before 9:00am on Monday, December 19, 2022.

 

Applications will be accepted all week long until Thursday, December 22 at 11:59 pm, so there is no rush to apply exactly at 9 am on Monday, 12/19.

 

You will most likely be asked to create a user name and password in order to access the application.

 

If you already have a user name and password you created to access another application in the past, use that one--you don't have to create a new one.

 

Submission of a pre-application does not guarantee placement on the waiting list. Only one pre-application per household will be accepted. Written and faxed applications will NOT be accepted.

 

Assistance completing online pre-applications will be provided by the Housing Authority at One Bergen County Plaza, 2nd Floor, Hackensack, NJ 07601. Staff will be made available to assist with the completion of pre-applications from Monday December 19, 2022 through Thursday December 22, 2022 between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm. In our continued effort to protect our residents, staff and applicants, we require anyone arriving to the Hackensack office to wear a mask.

 

In order to be eligible, the head of household must be 62 years of age or older with an annual gross income which cannot exceed the following income limits:
