NJDCA Resilient Communities Grant Program
Notice of Public Comment Period for Resilient Community Project
The Borough of North Arlington invites the public to review and provide comments on the proposed allocation of funds under the Resilient Communities Grant Program. This project aims to repair the current bulkhead along the Passaic River, perform riverbank stabilization, and other flood mitigation efforts.
Site Location:
The project site is located at and around 200 River Road, North Arlington, NJ 07031.
Source of Funds:
This project will be submitted under the Resilient Communities Grant Program, administered by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (NJDCA). The source of funds for this project is the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program, administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Public Hearing:
We will hold a public hearing to provide an opportunity for the community to learn more about the project and ask questions. The public hearing will take place on Thursday, November 30th, 2023, at 7:00 PM located at Borough Hall, 214 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ 07031. We encourage all interested parties to attend and participate.
Comment Period:
The public comment period for this funding allocation begins on Thursday, November 30th, and will conclude on Thursday, December 14th. Please ensure all comments are submitted no later than 5:00 PM on December 14th.
