HOUSING HOT TOPIC - Waitlist Opens for Homeownership Opportunities

FROM THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF BERGEN COUNTY:
The Housing Authority of Bergen County is pleased to announce the opening of a waiting list for affordable homeownership opportunities in Bergen County. These condominiums are available for low- and moderate-income households that meet income limits set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Bergen-Passaic, NJ Metro FMR Area.
The homes for sale include two-, three-, and four-bedroom condominiums. All applicants must meet specific income and household size eligibility criteria, which can be found on the following website:

Applications will be available beginning Monday, August 11th, 2025, at 9:00 am through Friday, August 15, 2025, at 11:59 pm. This is a Preliminary Application only.
The HABC will accept applications ONLINE ONLY at www.habcnj.org.
There is no application fee. A random selection lottery will be conducted to rank all applicants.
