A serious water main break has occurred in the vicinity of 2 River Road. 

This has caused the area of River Road between the Belleville Turnpike and Stevens Place to lose water service.

The Passaic Valley Water Commission is on the scene and repairs are underway.  However this is a major break and it is not known how long it will take to complete the repair.
